Our signature premium flake system! We specialise in full polyaspartic flake systems which are UV stable and enhance the appearance of any area. The latest generation polyaspartic resins we use are guaranteed not to yellow or lose their colour even in South Australia’s challenging environment making this sytem suitable for both internal and external applications. Due to the incredibly rapid cure times your floor can be walked on within hours of us applying the final coat.

Using the same flake particles as our premium non-yellowing system, the more traditional approach to flaked floors uses a pigmented epoxy to prime the floor and provide a coloured base for the coloured flake chips. Epoxy is a well proven product and gives an incredible end result with phenomenal adhesion to the substrate. This more traditional slow-cure flake system is still preferred in certain specific circumstances, however it takes significantly longer to install, along with a longer final cure before the floor can return to service. This system would not generally be specified for external applications or areas where direct UV exposure will occur.

There is a look and feel about true mechanically polished concrete that is hard to beat. A complex process allows us to take a plain looking slab and reveal the aggregates inside before refining that floor to a beautifully smooth finish. Everything from matt, through satin, all the way up to high gloss can be achieved depending on the finish required. Properly cared for a polished concrete slab can retain its beauty for many years to come. Every slab is different, with a different blend of aggregates, so each polished slab is also a unique work of art. Nil-exposure polishing is possible for certain slabs if a less "busy" finish is desired.

Heavy 3-phase planetary grinders are used to expose the hidden beauty of the stones already present within a concrete slab. The surfaced is refined before applying 2-3 coats of hardwearing clear polyurethane sealer. This gives a similar look to polished concrete but at a more affordable price point. ACC only uses UV-stable non-yellowing polyurethanes to guarantee longevity. Available in Gloss or Satin finishes.

Various processes are used to grind the surface to expose aggregates, before refining that surface to create a natural looking low-sheen finish. Often used for exterior stairs, pathways, patios or pool surrounds to name just a few suitable areas. Honed concrete retains a high level of grip even in external applications because natural pin-holes and micro-scratches are retained. We utilise a custom enhancing sealer that offers incredible long-term protection without adversely affecting grip.

Although in some instances it may be possible to coat over existing tiles, it is generally preferable to remove existing floor coverings and prepare the substrate for direct application of the specified ACC flooring system. We can efficiently remove tiles and grind off any tile glue either as a stand-alone service or as the necessary first step before applying the desired finish.
